Each of the wide array of social spaces is designed to allow you to live, work and play with like-minded individuals, wherever your next journey takes you.”We designed, produced and supplied a collection of furniture spanning across 10 typologies from Ping Pong work/tables and social area rockers, to in-room pieces and two models of chairs, in quantities in excess of 500. The collection encapsulates the playful, joyful and colourful DNA of the lyf@Funan concept property.
Playful Tubes
One of the furniture type requested are a series of playful rockers for the common area.
We were inspired by the colours, aesthetic language & structural elegance of playground structures and bent pipe design pieces.
Employing these familiar design cues that evoke our collective childhood playtime memories, the users in the lyf space will intuitively interact with our Rail Rockers.
Single, double or the huge 6 pax rocking “bed”. Let’s rock it!
Thinking to table and desk archetypes, we decided to propose two different typology:
A series of dining tables where the ball and sphere are the main leitmotifs of this family of tables; a ball suggests dynamism and is an symbol of play. The bigger version can be converted in a ping pong table in a few second.
At 40mm diameter it becomes a Ping-pong ball and at larger dimensions hence it can perform as a wheel to afford movement.
