Tiles are often seen as quiet embellishments repetitive, orderly, contained within a grid. But here, they break free, transforming into an expansive world of movement and imagination. Each tile in these windows has been hand-drawn, created specifically for this composition, and infused with Hermès codes; the Chaîne d’Ancre, padlocks, horseshoes, and tressage, woven into intricate motifs.
No longer confined to static decoration, these tiles extend into vast, open landscapes, where stories come to life. Through a play of structure and freedom, repetition and surprise, the world of tiles transforms into a living scenography.
Beneath the Chaîne d’Ancre waves of an underwater world, a seahorse and a shrimp drift through a labyrinth of corals, their surroundings shifting between pattern and reality. Scarves ripple like sea fans, leather goods nestle among the reef, and belts coil into the organic curves of marine life.
In a prairie alive with motion, a Pegasus leaps skyward, leaving the tiled earth behind. His wings take form in floating silk, shoes press into the terrain before lifting off, and leather creations echo the rhythm of wind-swept flowers.
