Hermès has invited us, for the third year, to design their festive season’s shopping window display for their boutique at Charles de Gaulle Paris Airport. Hermès theme for this year is “Lightness”.
As the year comes to a close, and the weight of daily toil is lifted, inhabitants of cities shift into a more relaxed mood, making time for reconnecting with themselves.
Time to take sojourns into an enchanted forest, to observe its beauty and re-set our inner energy for the new season.
On these sojourns, we see magnificent winter animals; in silence we observe them living in harmony with nature.
We manage to catch a duo of Cranes spread their gorgeous wings and take flight over a frozen pond, a noble Stag, with his majestic crown of horns, and his fawn gallop through with a covey of blue jays…
…while a spritely pair Foxes hop between the enchanted colours hills, with their voluminous tails following.
Finally, a magnificent peacock trying to impress his sweetheart dancing with its wonderful tail under the moonlight.
The whimsical landscapes are created overlapping different colours and pattern designed especially for this for this windows display series.
All the decorative elements are made in natural materials such as wood and metal
Enchanted Winter Forest Celebrations windows series has been installed at Hermès Store Paris Charles de Gaulle Terminal 2E Hall, from December 2022 till March 2023.
